Need To Get Audio From An .mpeg File

anybody know of anyway to extract audio from .mpeg files? IE just the audio, no video

 

Theres a program called MP3 MyMp3 which detects audio running on your PC - Basically what you hear is what it records

So that would be of use if itworks that is
