K I have Windows XP (if that means anything)and I am trying to get more space on my comp, so I can get photoshop again, Can I delete the following and still have everything work fine? Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 Adobe Reader 8.0.1 Java 6 Update 2 (I HAVE Java 6 Update 3 as well) *Thanks in Advance
buy a new harddrive, they're down to 8cents/GB and quite frankly the stuff you listed is only a few hundred mb, heck if you can't afford a harddrive, buy a bargain bin 2GB flashdrive for $5.
Do not remove FrameWork or Adobe Reader. Idk about Java. If you have any games on your PC, then remove them. They usually take up a GB or so.
You need framework and java I don't think is too big adobve reader its useful but I don't use it and if you tell us how big your hd is as said above OR you can just look for stuff that you don't need like old music videos games etc.
you don't NEED any of those listed for normal running, if you don't open a lot of .pdf's, remove acrobat if you don't use java often (runescape, limewire, azureus) remove java if you need the .net framework applications will whine if you don't have it as previously said though, hard drives are dirt cheap, hell you can get 1tb for under £100 nowadays
