Need Server

    I'm soon to be getting a grant from my local council to start up a computer club and I need a Server. It will mostly be used for hosting dedicated game servers. All I know is that I will get a grant of around £1000. Minus say about £200 for switches, venue, etc. so around £800 (I'm willing to use some of my own money as well if needed). I would prefer a prebuilt, but I can build it myself if necessary. Also the sites need to ship to the UK. Thanks in advance

    No, I mean I would actually need the server with me, not online. So that I can setup and maintain the game servers.

    woudln't know what to say, check sun solaris, dell and HP, compare/contrast and see what best fits your needs. I'd think that a single chip Woodcrest server with 2gb ram and a 10krpm harddrie ro two would suffice but see what you can get. Remember, no need for a GFX card on the thing.
