k, well just learn the basics of html, font stuff, tables, tr, td, div, etc, then move onto php. Websites should be all about their content, not their looks. sure a good looking site can be a big plus, but if you cant do anything on the site, no point.
DO NOT LEARN HTML. ok? Just don't. =P If you do real webmasters will laugh at you. All you need to know are <head><title><meta><body> <headers><a> <form><input> and <DIV> If you use any other tag you are probably making a poor web site. Go to w3schools. Learn how these tags work. Try it out a bit. And then go learn CSS.
dude, what the F*c* are you talking about? ever heard of <select>, <option>? <table>? <tr>? <td>? there are so many elements beyond either of our knowledge that are useful. dont take this kids advice. he comes back with some stupid 'Learn XHTML ahaha' reply, then your just arrogant.
lol <table> is 5 years ago buddy. <select><textarea> I figure you can assume I included those when I mention <form>. Apparently not. I don't think you even know what XHTML is. And actually, there's a relatively small number of HTML tags. I recommend against using them because basically half of them have been depreciated or are on the verge of depreciation. I'm a professional web designer? I think when I get paid doing this I'd know what I'm talking about.
