Are you asking how to connect the wires for the power/reset buttons etc? If so you may need to check the documentation(manual) for the motherboard. My motherboard was marked pretty clearly. FYI: It is very difficult to understand your question. Next time proof read your post and make sure people can understand you.
yeah, clean up your english. if you are a non-english person, we excuse you. we make mistakes here and there, but please read it over again before posting. it should be plain simple in the manual. some boards actually have it written on the motherboard. the connections are usually on the lower right of the board, where your cpu is in the upper left.
ya sorry i dont know motherboards to well.... ok first off ya its the reset/power wires and led wires i dont understand and as i said on my first post "i cannot ifnd a manual on my asus k8s-LA motherboard(its the stock mobo from my compaq i bought) i checked asus and hp's website i found nothing helpful
ok, i found a manual for it, in pdf, but i cannot get it, thats the only one i ever found... http://www.ctechinfo.org/manuals/salmon_manual.pdf Merged Post: ok, you are better off getting a new board. this asus board was an oem for Compaq Presario's. It is not made anymore, every resource to its manual is dead, it is no longer on the asus website, nor does compaq have it, there are at least 100s of people who cannot find a manual to it. i think you are damned... ;( get a new board, and you'll feel much better
compaq motherboards cannot be transfered to new cases, they are made specifically for just compaqs cases.
your probably gonna need an ATX/Micro ATX motherboard. Look at the compatibility of your case (if it says its compatable with ATX, then Micro ATX would also work.) I'll assume Campaq is somewhat gay like dell (I swear they have upgrades to my dell computer.) What your probably talking about is the LED/power/restart cords. My Aspire case also came like that (all seperate etc.)
Ya its gay =P im goign to savee up money to buy the 300 dollar gfx card/motherboard combo.. atleast il have 2 computers when im done.... so i put my compaw back together it looks Ugly as ---- now cause the cover broke...i has to take that off to tek my cd burner out...
