Need Help Fixing Comp.

    Ok well im fixing a family member computer and we both have identicals computers (mying is an oold one i dont use) his motherboard and power suplly are fried so i replaced it with my old computers mobo and bought a puma PSU.
    But the problem is when i boot it , the monitor says no vga input signal...I also tried with a different HDD.

    when you installed the video card did you ensure that it was seated correctly? and that the monitor cable is plugged into the video card?

    There is no video card its connected to the onboard vga port.

    you have everything set properly in BIOS? furthermore, why didn't you just swap the HDDs and call it at that?


    also, dry lab it, just test it on a minimal setup and add parts and so on until you can isolate the issue.
