Sorry man, but I'm thinking you should try writing the essay yourself. Different people have different writing styles, and I'm thinking you should stick with yours rather than having someone else do it for you. Your teacher could quite possibly recognize this as someone else's work, and even if he gives it to you, it's still technically plagiarism. It's your choice, and you can do what you want, but I'm just recommending that you do it yourself. If you really don't have the time, most teachers will understand if you get a parent to write a note explaining why or something. if you just expand on the ideas that people have given you, you could probably get a page or two out of it pretty easy.

Example's could be president Reagan's armistice to end World War II, communism in much of western Europe (the satelite nations of the Soviet Union, including Germany), and tearing down the Berlin Wall.

Also, notice the U.S. is a part of many treaty organizations which have been introduced by our presidents.

    Just some thoughts.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._President

    I. Introduction
    II. Powers of the President
    - What can he/or she do?
III. Examples in history of the powers of a President
    - Examples noted in the thread, and also the largest example would be the extension of powers by former President FDR during and a little bit after, the Great Depression.
IV. Are these powers good or bad, are their just powers?
    - Discuss the salary of President(s), and maybe cite examples of what they've done after being President. They often get lifetime security detail from the Secret Service, and could get a cushion job practically anywhere. They also tend to always write a book, which nets them a nice amount of money. The media would be a big thing to discuss here.
    V. Conclusion
    - Wrap things up.

I suggest you write the essay yourself and stop abusing the reputation system.
