Tommorrow I'm going to EB games and I need to know what ps2 game to get, I was going to get True Crime: New York but then gamespot finally made a review about it and it didn't sound too good. So can you guys recommend any good one's? I was thinking along the lines of getting SSX On Tour or Ratchet: Deadlocked? Here are the games I have atm if it helps GTA San Andreas Burnout Revenge Jak 3
Ratchet: Deadlocked Shadow of the Colossus Genji: Dawn of the Samurai Jak X Racing Dragon Warrior VIII Burnout Revenge All of these games are great, but with the exception of Dragon Warrior, the rest of the games are horribly short
How is Shadow of the Colossus, that looked amazing, I have been following it since it was Wanda and the Colossus, but I haven't picked it up.
Yeah it is, but it's basically a crappier version (on the PS2 it's called Battlefield: Modern Combat) Oh, about Shadow of the Colossus, it's a short game, but its amazing. The control system is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of using, and the music is great. The battles are also very fun, due to the fact that you need to think about how to beat the 16 bosses (which BTW are all unique and fun)
If you're into online games and a short single player campaign you could always consider SOCOM 3. NFS: Most Watned is an ideal choice as well, I read some reviews and it was not bad.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted would be a good choice if you are into tuning cars, racing them, and just racing in general. I absolutely love this game. It's like Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed Underground had a baby!
Final Fantasy X is the best RPG for the PS2. If you play that you might also want to get Final Fantasy X2. Midnight Club Dub Edition is a great game if your into racing. Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty is good but theres a new one out called Snake Eater but its no as good. And if your planning to get the new Metal Gear thats comming out I think for the PS3 you really gonna need to play Sons of liberty. Kingdom Hearts is great but I never really feel like playing it after you beat it once. Budokai Tenkaichi I think is a awsome game but have minor flaws. God of War I dont think you should get this game altho everyone things if was soo good I just taught it was boring and I aint even beat it I just took it back and it has no replay value. Devil May Cry 3 its a that great game lots of replay value there. Well thats about it I hope this helped you out.
