Look through your program files for weird folders. (something you didn't install) (c:\program files)

Do you have any freeware programs or p2p stuff like kazaa?

If you are downloading/looking at lots of porn....then that's probably why you're getting the pop-ups.

I might be wrong though, it could be something totally different...

Lol, did you check your program files?

Do you have service pack 2? If not, you should get it, it's free and stops most security threats.

Get SP2, and use a firewall with built-in pop-up blocker (like ZoneAlarm).

Give us a screen shot of some of these pop-ups you're getting, because it's possible that they're being sent through the Windows XP Messenger Service on your computer, a security glitch that Windows had but has recently corrected. Take that screen shot and if it looks like it may be the problem I stated above, I can walk you through the steps to stop those ads or simply PM and I can do it that way too...

    Try this:

Start up in safe mode and run all the anti spy and adware programs you got. Then scan with norton. Usually this helps sometimes. You could also try this:
If you remember which day you clicked on that email then do a search on your computer on all files created on that specific day. After the search is done look through those files and make sure there aint any suspicious files or folders. You could also just get mozilla firefox and dump IE if you are still using IE

    ahahhahahahahaahahhaahahaha no.

Dude your a moron for saying "reformat your comp". Just because you have spyware problem dont mena you delete all ur shit and start all over again. Some people dont have win xp disk or w/e disk, they CANT backup there shiz, they DONT have the money to buy the disk, and they DONT Know how to reformat, and they CANT lose all there information. ALL you have to do is learn to where a condom (sorta speak) when your on the internet, very simple you just slip that puppy on (sypywaye, virus, etc scanner and blocker) and your ready to hit that net up ;).
