Myspace...is It Safe?

Look, the only way myspace is not safe is if you post stupid information. Don't post your adress or make your profile public.

 

Myspace is safe. It is just dangerous when you put on extremely private information (where you live, your school, ect.), because you don't have any idea who is looking at your profile.

 

I don't think MySpace is safe. I guess it's ok unless you post your name, or phone number, or address. Because you keep hearing on the news about all these kids getting raped and killeda nd stuff. I personally think it isn't safe, and I'll never join.

 

Posting up your name is actually not as bad as everyone thinks. I've done searches before and came up with 3 different people in my state alone that had the same name as I do. If you're smart about what you put up on your profile, and smart about what you say to strangers you're just meeting you're fine. It's the stupid kids who tell everything to complete strangers who are the ones getting kidnapped and everything. The hype about it is overblown.

anyway, as i'm watching, my antivirus stops this from attempting to get in my computer.

i can agree with you that we do reveal information on my space but it always deppends on the person because i hvae as much where abouts about where i am on my space then i do on forums ... theyre will always be things liek that but u dont state like u adress or anything

Myspace is safe if you use it right. But if your just a stupid person and will agree to meet a random person at a park then thats your fault.

Myspace is an online thing, people should get so caried over it that they would actually go to real life places to meet who they talk to or whatever.
