Okay, so today I purchased several tutorials, ranging from 25 credits to 50.

I didn't look at them right away, I bought a few and tucked them away on my PC for later viewing.

So, just a while ago. I opened up a random tutorial by someone (mind you I paid 50 Credits) and was very disappointed, the outcome was amazing, but this tutorial was horribly written and was not detailed at all...

For example: "ok, i jus do da render and smudge a lil an change da blend mode. i did a few things and changed them."

Like... Um... What the hell did you do? I paid for this for a reason, not to get some quickly done excuse for a tutorial to make a quick buck that wasn't even looked over.

In your description, don't put "extremely detailed!" if it's not.

This is why tutorials should be free, or make each tutorial examined by a certain staff member to see if it should actually be paid for.

I must admit, I'm pretty familiar with CS, but not 100%. You have to explain WTF you are doing, not give me some half-ass answer because your too lazy just looking for some fast credits.

    ---

So, that's all I have to say. Close this, delete it, move it. Do whatever.

Yeah, truly a rough cut-throat business. Buying tutorials, better watch your back.

I'm not asking for my credits back, I'm simply stating that if your going to write a tutorial, write it with intelliegence.

Usually tutorials cuts straight to the point, so... the maker does presume the buyer has knowledge of photoshop and the ability to use his own preferable settings I guess... lol.

I'm usually able to follow most tutorials very easily. I know exactly what the person is saying. But most definately not in this case, however.

    OMFG, shut up n00b.

That's not the point of my topic. I'm just a little upset that something I actually paid for is not at all what should be expected when paying for something.

Personally, I find selling tutorials to be pretty silly...but that's just me. Chances are likely that you're NOT the first person in the world to come up with that idea, not to mention that it's likely that if someone is familiar enough with PS they'll be able to replicate the outcome just by studying it - I've done that on more than one occassion.

IMO, it's kinda like real life. Not everything is free and you have to pay for ---- here and there. You're not gonna be handed everything on a silver platter. Paying for tutorials is paying for knowledge which is like paying for your education, which almost everybody has to do. Now granted you don't always get what you pay for but as somebody already stated, a lot of the times you will get your money's worth.
