My Tattoo

    for a tattoo it probably didn't hurt THAT bad, right? i heard getting a tattoo over bone hurts the most.

    Yeah any kind of tissue for cushioning is best. The upper part of the wings where it got closer to bone hurt more. After about 3.5 hours the portions that he was going over again and again that were already shaded started to burn. It definitely was not as bad as I thought it would be.

    The bones don't hurt. Nerves do.

    However - tattoos in general, from my experience, don't hurt.

    Tattoos aren't my cup of tea, but the art itself is great.
    A talented tattoo artist seeing as he took the pic you gave and made it tons better. The blending of eye for example and also the bending of the wings near the top.

    So yeah; it's nice, but not something I would get ^^

    Yeah that was my absolutely horrible first attempt. The second wasn't much better, but I also didn't spend more than 20 minutes on either. I figured the second one would do well for a proof of concept, and let the artist fill in the gaps.

    @ Penguin, I couldn't be happier with the level of detail he put into it.

    Duh.

    I havn't seen many tattoo artists that will tattoo you while you walk around.

    Don't love the tattoo cause it ain't my thing, but the tattoo'er did a great job at making it better then the original. :]
