When I open Internet Explorer or Firefox and maximize the window, it hides my start bar. The start bar doesn't come back even if I hold my mouse over it.

My Internet Explorer and Firefox aren't in Full Screen Mode, and I have tried unchecking and rechecking the box in start menu properties that says auto-hide start bar.

Anyone know of any possible solutions? I'm open to ideas, thanks in advance.

It doesn't come up even if you press the windows button on your keyboard?

Yea it does, but as soon as I click off, it hides again.

Oh by the way its not just firefox and IE, it's doing it with every program.

    Placi, throw away the weed.

right click start bar, click properties, taskbar pane, put a check in "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows"

then make sure that keep on top of other windows is selected
