I actually took a tutorial and edited and left out some steps and added some of my own effects so its like 50/50 or 75/25. :D

and that would be great if you could code it for me because I can only edit code I cant make it. :)

Even if it's from a tut - we all gotta learn somewhere :) Tuts help in learning the different steps in making different elements of a template which we can alter and use for the future.

I like the template, you did a good job :D Maybe change the text in the buttons though~ Looks good :D 9/10

dont use gradients on content areas, makes you use iframes at best. When doing a tech layout dont use stroke, use drop shadow. If you do choose to use stroke, use a 1 pixel that looks like the shadow color you used, or black on a lower opacity, as to make it somewhat darker than the shadow, but not extremely noticible. More color to it, white with black inner glow/outer glows can look REALLY good and it doesnt look monotonous, also white looks great with blue, green, and red (which are all highly contrasted to it), I find gray to be hard to work with unless its a background and your actual layout is a different color.

6/10, atleast your template looks like you spent some time on it.

I dont really like it. The gray is to much of it and to plain.
The content box looks like an oversized .:content:. thing (the one above the content box is missing a dot)
There are many grey things that look like each other, but are missing something that makes it look like one part.
It is a good designed template though you put time in it so you have it in you. Better luck next time ;)
