My New Cp

Well ... it must support it some how ... because it is actually recommended that I have it on for my system. I also saw a big difference in how the game looked ... the lighting was much better ... if thats what its suppost to do ... I liked it. My performance only dropped like 5 FPS anyway ... so I left it on. Maybe it does it for Pixel Shader 2.0 or something else instead of 3.0 ... since the x850 does support 3.0

its got a fair price for the looks, i think its like $50. it has aspire fans, they arent the best, mine has 3, i wouldnt buy them if i had a choice, but w/e works.

 

sorry WFCxT-time you are technically right. Your card does support it, but it poorly implements it in comparison to the nvidia 6x and 7x series.

 

It actually works fine for HL2 Lost Coast ... because the HDR on it is 2.0b ... and that is what is on my card. Probably wont work as good for new games such as oblivion though ... since oblivion is in 3.0

Woot! I can play Doom and Doom II on my computer and it only lags some of the time. YAY!!!
