    I can play F.E.A.R. ... medium settings ... on 40 x 30 resolution (and i dont mean 400 x 300)

    If I took a bucket, ---- in it, and said it was good for an E-Machine, he would buy it from me, yes!

    e machines are fairly good for the price you realize, you get a lot more bang/$ out of one than say an alienware...

    also, FEAR wouldn't run at 40*30 on his system it woudl still crash up as FEAR is CPU instensive as well and lowering GPU alone work wouldn't cut it.

    That is a stab at me.... well... thanks a lot!

    But I have the money to do so... as I dont by e-machines... modded or not... I am just lazy this year. ;)

    Usually if you are looking for performance, especially for gaming, you are better off just building your own. e Machines, Dell, and all thsoe other value computer makers build value computers for someone who isnt looking to be playing the most technologically advanced game in the market. The cheap ass computers are made with someone who just wants a computer to do normal computer stuff on. Such as typing, e-mail, browsing.

    umm that's not always right. when your budget is below 300$ is cheaper to buy an entire system from an OEM manufacturer than to build your own.

    his budget is about 200.

    Um...err... If you have the money and performance in mind then its off to custom rig. If you don't have the money than you can pretty much forget about doing any of the best games out.
