check the local newspapers for fry's electronics, again, I got my 64 3000+ and a mobo for 130, a little back I saw a 939 3500+ and a decent mobo(dual channel ram suport PCI-e slot) for 200$ one thing, get a real GFX card, a lot mroe power full and you keep a bit mroe ram. I got a radeon 9250 fir 45$ at fry's on sale and i have had no issues with it.

oh, ok. we dont have one around here, sorry...

    but I did ummm...

    GOT IT FIXED!!!!!! :D

    the problem was.... O_O

I accidentally put a mounting screw on the case where there was no hole... >_< It was shorting out the mobo... weird things, computers...

I'm actually using it right this second.

I'm happy of the speed in this thing..

    Before:
    Intel Celeron 2.7ghz
    256mb RAM
32mb GFX card (some old geforce model)

    After:
AMD Athalon XP 3000+ w/ Barton Core
    512mb RAM
    256mb Geforce FX 5500

I moved all my drives to this computer, btw. It may not be the fastest thing alive, but hey, It's faster than my other piece of ----...
