My Internet Connection

hey guys , need a solution quickly
i have no clue what happened to my internet connection it was working perfectly fine until the day before yesterday, and since yesterday i can't even open up yahoo.com or any other website, the page just keeps loading and loading....and for some reason i am able to go to every website in my bookmarks, i have no problem in connecting with the websites in my bookmarks, but any other website just wouldn't load.

Reset your router settings, try openDNS, make sure your MTU is set correctly

 

i tried that already, i even called up my internet provider and asked them if something was wrong with my connection, they said my connection is working properly as they see it...so i am thinking could something be wrong with my computer?

 

Try with a different system, get someone to bring their laptop/PSP/Wifi phone to try it for you. Better still, try and get on to someone else in your street's wifi to see if it still doesnt work

 

i tried to use my laptop to catch the connection, but my internet is protected and cannot be used wirelessly

 

Try using another browser, if you are not using Firefox then try that and see if there is any change.

 

just try in case delete TEMP and cookies...

 

or just do a system restore 2 days back, maybe it would help

 

This has happen to me, ever since I installed MF3 . Any new bugs I don't know about?

 

i have used firefox and internet explorer and its the same thing in both

did that many times, nothing changed

did that also didn't help

i am still using firefox 2, didn't download firefox 3 because of all the bugs i been hearing about

 

my computer was infected with my trojans and viruses, i removed all of them successfully but it still doesn't help solve my problem...cud some internet settings be the cause of the problem?

 

make a hijackthis log and upload it here

 

i don't know what that is man, if u cud explain it to me, i wud be able to upload that

Then run it, scan your PC, save the log on your desktop. Open the log, copy all of it and paste it in here.

You migth need to post 2x if your log is too big. Just make sure you don't miss any lines.

 

thnx BetaMerc but my browser won't let me go to download.com page just keeps loading, if u cud do me a big favor and upload the application file on rapidshare i wud really appriciated that, do u think u wud be able to do that?
