My Gaming Computer, Can You Top It?

    AMD 64 3000 (~2.0ghz) good enough for me. I'm not a hardcore gamer, I just play a few games...

    2.0GHZ is enough for most things and if it is 939 you can later get a dual core proc. keep in mind that athlons are about 1ghz below P4s but perform equivilently, also, keep in mind that Athlons do dramatically better in gaming and graphics, so think of him as having a 3.2GHZ P4 for that price.

    yes, I know that. That's why I wanted a AMD, not a Pentium. Even tho the AMDs are slower in ghz, they make it up with their performance.

    I have a 2.7ghz P4 on here, and it runs like a 1.7...
