My Friend's Comp

    I need help, I'm going to buy a new comp for a friend and dunno what specs to buy.

    He uses the computer for Gfx, Some 3d and playing some games.

    He's budget is 1000-1200$


    He told me he would like to have a Dual-Core Processor


    Could you plz name some components?

    Do you notice any difference between using

    DDR 333 RAM (the one I have) and DDR2 500 (dualchannel)

    What do i need to use dual channel ram?

    you cannot use ddr2 on amd systems. for amd systems use DDR400.

    Deff alot of Ram, you should be able to afford it.

    Dual channel = RAM sticks work together running much faster than two seperate sticks of the same size/speed.
