    I love the simple design,
but round the corners just doesnt look right with the sharp white pixels sticking out and maybe just put some scan lines on a graient and itl look like a perfect front page ^_^

First, why is it a transparent PNG?

And its simple, yes, but simple to the point things can be summed up as saying its 6 rounded boxes, a C4D render, and some text.

Experiment with some subtle gradients within the boxes. Also, change the banner font.

Nothing personal, I'm just a harsh critic, even if its your first design. (After all, just saying GJ isnt helping you.)

    Keep trying though :)

i like it, except a little imperfection i noticed was that your left and right margin are different depending on the box. Try and make it COMPLETELY even if at all possible. What I do to accomplish this is make the rulers visible and then drag a line from the ruler to where I want my border to be, and when you do that all marquees and shapes "stick" to that line. Just click and hold on the ruler and drag it onto your layout! :D hopefully i was of help
