When submitting your render, please remember to include:

    - Where the image originally comes from. Site link, forum link, or Google link

This is where I got the image from...
    Image Link

    - Information about permission you have gained to cut out the image if it came from DeviantArt, cgtalk.com or any other website in which artists submit their own work.

Erm... I hope I didn't need permission... Please let me know if I do.

    One of my favorite quotes...
"It's always easier to ask forgivness than permission"

After reading Elrics wonderful indepth tutorial about how to render an image I decided to try one myself

Link to the image hosted at imageshack
    Link to Elrics Tut

This is the result... Please let me know (in detail) what I need to do to improve my work.

I posted this in Elrics tut but I will repeat it again.

If anyone has suggestions on how to make "pretty good" to "great" I would appreciate it.

Hard to get better if I do not know what to change :D

    btw... thanks for the responses

choppy ? what the heck look better man !

For an first cut that's really really nice.

    few pieces of advice :
Place points closer together and zoom in a LOT. ( i usually do mine at 600 - 1200%)
In the start...stay AWAY from hair, as it is PURE evil.

God invented hair to irritate and frustrate renderers.

    Nice job !
