that's the bad things about diesels, they have soo much damn torque. After my dad did a few "modifications" to his truck, he had a hard time getting the truck to move when starting up... the wheels kept spinning. He fixed it by adding 10 sand bags to the back of his truck... though it doesn't matter a ton as he normally has either a camper shell or a camper on the back which adds sufficient weight. I'm in a family full of hardware enthusiasts. I'm the computer enthusiast, my dad's the audio/vehicular enthusiast. In his truck club, they have trucks skipping the dynomometer, really it's amazing. too bad about your truck(hope you have good insurance) but atleast noone was hurt, that is what is important
Shame...It's a good truck. Lucky that nobody was hurt, though. That's the best part. If you're looking for a positive side, well, it does give you something more to brag about...
