    my hd is split up into 3 particions , but you never know

    3 partitions wont save you with a hardware-crash.

    I had 3 seperate harddrives, one of them hardware-crashed...
    lost 1 year of digital photography!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    and had one 1GJazz with minor crash as well... saved most of the imagery... lost about 150Mb.

    CD/DVD-RW is the way to go I guess, gotta get me one of those DVD-RWs ... mmmmmmmmmm slobber slobber
