Well, this should show you not to try and get something for free. First thing I would do is delete the registry keys for Adobe. ****Note**** if you dont know anything about the registry, I would say get some help doing so and then try re-installing the trial version. I would also run a virus scan and also a spyware scan to make sure you didnt load something else besides what you thought was a crack.

that is because photoshop may have put in a "thing" into your hard drive that prevents you from installing it. this happens alot if you use a crack and then the crack stop working. thats all i know

I am not an expert with that kind of stuff. Use registry mechanic. It may or may not find it. If it finds it then remove it.

When you typr regedit in the run box, it will come up. Look in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then software for adobe. If you have acrobat and other adobe products, look through the adobe files and delete only the ones that say photoshop. You will have to do the same thing in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER one as well. Just look for anything with adobe or photoshop. And delete ONLY the ones you dont want. I say delete the entire adobe ones and re-install your programs.

***NOTE*** Dont delete anything else!!!! Serious system failure can and may occur.

Did you also run a virus and spyware scan. And did you also uninstall PS from your machine thorugh add/remove programs? After you do that restart and then try and reinstall.

Well basically, If whatever tips other guys have given you dont work, Reformat your computer it is the easiest way, also if you are even attempting at getting it for free go to either, www.crackspider.net, www.mscracks.com or www.google.com, Most of the cracks should work =]

P.S - www.mscracks.com, Contains spyware (ads), alot of them and some contain porn so you should get a anti-spyware remover and you should be fine =]

If you want to remove the virus' from system restore, you need to turn it off first. Right click my computer and go to properties, Go to the system restore tab and check the box for turn off system restore. Restart your machine and then go back and uncheck the box. This should clear out all the restore points as well, so just be aware, but you are in a bad situation as it is, so getting rid of them isnt really that big a deal. If it works, you can always create a new restore point to start off fresh. I would definatley get your machine cleaned before trying to install PS again.
