i honestly think i know more about comps and stuff than she does. she does tons of idiotic things, here was one of them: so we're in word learning how to bold and center stuff (its 8th grade..COME ON!) so then we can to bullets. and we imported a picture as a bullet. then we come to fonts, she shows us what wingdings is, and then points out a smile face and says it would be good as a bullet ok here we go: she highlights the smile face wingding, saves the document, and then tries to import that to a bullet. shes looking for it in the import thing but cant find it as its not an image, then she tries to save it as a jpeg, but jpeg's not fking there you idiot. and then we're in Publisher, and she keeps saying that rectangles, filling stuff, and patterns are new things..omfg. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Lol. Im in eigth grade also. I have to take keyboarding, im taking it this semester. And my teacher isnt that smart. I finish the lessons too fast and she suspects me of copying and pasting.
I had keyboarding last year in 9th, and comp. lit..Both are wastes of time really.. at least the first few weeks of this comp. lit class. Then we move onto excel and powerpoint. I guess I can learn stuff there since I never bother with those programs?...
Its like when i took a graphic design course at grade 10 level 2 years ago, and i knew how to do everything so easily already. Ok this is a gradient, well duh, thanks for that. I finished my assigments in like a minute and spent the rest of the class skipping.
haha i had keyboarding and intro to computers lest year in my freshman year and i can relate im gonna take a photoshop class this semester at the local college (all high school students can take college classes for free)
ok listen to this in 3rd thats right 3rd grade we had keyboarding well i finished every lesson in like 5 min cause it was asking you to type cat like 50 times so at the end of the year we had a keyboarding contest i won with 27 wpm. 4th grade no. 5th grade here we go again a new program a little harder but i finished and got my "certificate" in 1 semester this was a whole year class so they moved me to the number pad finished that in about 6 weeks. 6th grade here we go again except only one semester this year passed that in 6 weeks and then they moved me to intermediate live its like the morning new on tv and so had to be at school at 7:00 am as if i didnt already love school had to type all this ---- and blah blah so now its 7th grade ANOTHER F ING KEYBOARDING CLASS OH IM SORRY TECH APP so the first day i went to the office and talked to the counsler about getting out she said if i passed the test i could so i told the teacher she said that it teaches more than just keyboarding so we had to do 15 min warmups every single day i was about ready to kill myself so about 1 1/2 semesters later we are out of keyboarding even though i already got my certificate so i was ok lets go omg she was " ok guys do you know what this is (pointing to an icon) she picks some guy next to me and he studders and fumbles and uuuuuuhhhhh for like 5 min then i finally blurt out its an icon you dumbass she was like DALTON GO TO THE OFFICE RIGHT NOW come back 10 min later with a weeks detention now she is talking about how to close the window no one answered i was like CLICK THE BIG ASS X sent to the office again changed 1 weeks detention to 3 days after school so this happened just about all year me sitting in class with all the kids who ride the short bus and now 8th grade awww sweet victory no keyboarding but i do have BCIS next year which will get me some high school credits even though im already getting hs creds sorry for such a long post
thats how my teacher is. I always tellin her how to do stuff. She set up a computer and I had to teach her how to set up networks and stuff. Then she got a website for teachers and I had to do most of the stuff. But idc I got alot of good things from it. And if I had to miss something to help her I would get a 100
ive known more about computers then any computer teacher ive ever had.... not a big deal. i become the help desk :|

i think i must hav the only computer teacher that knows more than the actual students, but he is leet, he used to b in the police division dealing with hacker tracking. he knows to much :/
I'd say I'm about on par with my teacher's knowledge. Fact is though, when he's asking me what that fancy thing I did in html is it's a bit worrying (I know the bare bones of html and that's it :/ )
Rofl you're teacher is retarded. I had keyboarding from like 5-7 grade. And I type decently fast, but not with the gay technique thing, and my comp solutions is a technique nazi.
