ello everyone, musically was in the year 2007 so crowded. It was not just a series of anniversaries to celebrate (30 years never mind the bollock's, here's the sex pistols; 20 years appetite for destruction of the guns'n'roses; 30 years anniversary of the death of elvis presley), but there was also above-average number of band-reunions - albeit sometimes only for a concert: the police, the sex pistols, smashing pumpkins, genesis, led zeppelin, but also big pop-acts from the 90s as take that, the spice girls or the back street boys.
This is just my opinion. Nothing else. I'm sure I'm forgetting something... I think this would be a good place to discuss the year in music. As you can see, I'm not big into metal. My taste really ranges from high quality rap, to psych pop, to hard rock. Overall this was a pretty good year, with some great albums coming from unlikely sources (Mika) and some huge reunions (Zeppelin, The Police), but also some realllyyy crappy music (referring to the slew of terrible rap and manufactured rock). What are your thoughts on the year as a whole?
