im never in the mood for pop or country tho, EW i hate that ----

 

I listen to mostly death metal, hardcore metal and metal core with a bit of punk influence

I listen to a bit of old-school rap (Before they started talking about how rich they were) and a lot of rock (mostly hard, classic and alternative) and occasionally classical

 

Ahhh... with all that, who needs other genres?

 

i listen to a lot of rap, very rarley i listen to mainstream rap

 

For me, it really depends.

In the car, I'll listen to anything rock or rap.

But, while sitting here on the computer, it's techno / house / trance all the way.

I hate rap/hip-hop.

 

im not a BIG BIG BIG rap / hip hop fan... i personally dont like hip hop, but rap has its okness... i like a few.

But my main thing i like for some reason is classical, and rock, classical as in opera's and orchestra's... and rock as in alternative to heavy metal... and no frankly, i aint a BIG fan of the screaming... i dont like many goths >_>

 

Hate all Rap except a tad of Enimem...well I like his OLDER ones...before they got more...like 50 cent *shudder*

I like...Good Charlotte, Green Day, My Chemical Romance...Offspring etc

I mostly listen to classic rock. like led zepplin and pink floyd and journey.

 

jeez music topics are unoriginal, but I listen to rap, metalcore, general metal, trance, techno (good stuff), some emo, and a little funk. I don't listen to country.

I'm mostly a rock and metal girl myself...though I never specify genres any more specific than that, because a lot of the stuff I like can be classified as several genres, or doesn't fit in one, at all. Plus a lot is stuff people've never even heard of.

Stuff I like includes: Tool, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Lacuna Coil, Garbage, Gorillaz, Radiohead, A Perfect Circle, Opeth, Deftones, Porcupine Tree, Dredg, Incubus, Mindless Self Indulgence, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle (okay, pretty much anything with Mike Patton), Audioslave.....etc.

BTW, all you guys who say you like rap/hip-hop but don't like what's mainstream right now, check out some underground artists, like Immortal Technique, MF Doom, Blackalicious, Jedi Mind Tricks....you may like that a a lot. I like underground hip-hop quite a bit, and I ordinarily don't like rap, at all.
