Very easy way to brighten up your sigs

    Multi Color Sig Tutorial

    1. Begin with a grayscaled image (Image > Mode > Grayscale)
    2. Change Mode to RGB ( Image > Mode > RGB)

    3. Create a new layer and pick a somewhat light color. I chose 707DFF. Brush a bit of the corner and change the blend mode to color.

    4. Create a new layer and pick another somewhat light color. I chose 3EE455. Brush some more but do not brush over the blue already there. Change the blend mode to color again.

    5. Third color and brush again. I chose E43E3E. Change blending mode to color again and you have this.

    6. The colors need to blend together. Use Gaussain Blur ( Filter > Blur > Gaussain Blur). Go heavy with the blur 50-90 pixels on all three layers of color.

This is just the basic idea behind multi-color sigs. Let your imagination go wild, use any colors you want, any amount a blur, whatever its yours to run with.

it's a decent tutorial. If you use the marquee tool and marquee your area with 40 feather, it has a nice effect too.
