Unreal Tournament has my vote, been playing since UT99 and I still can't stop playing it! It isn't just point and shoot! You really need more skills then that! And strategy does goes with deathmatch, especially 1on1. I recommend looking at some video's from the World Cyber Games website about UT2004, especially the final. You will see that there is some serious strategic decisions you need to make playing 1on1.
