Just recently, my XBOX has decided that it doesn't like me anymore (or perhaps my modem, rather) and while attempting to connect to XBOX live, it fails the MTU test. This is especially strange considering none of the settings on my modem have changed. (Note: everything was working fine a week ago) I am running an Actiontec GT704WG, and of course, since it is an Actiontec product the firmware is less than satisfactory, meaning there isn't an option to change the MTU. So, any suggestions? Also, it would be great if someone could inform me on how to do a little bit of ethical hacking on this piece of crap, considering I don't have access to it, because my step dad thinks it is necessary for him to have supreme power over everything in the house.
I don't think that is true, however, I suppose it could be. But the fact that nothing about that is in the M$ KB, doesn't help your case.
