Msn Problems

i cant log into msn because i get an error code
msn error code: 80048820

ive tried troubleshotting and i get this:


ive tried synchronizing my computer clock time (didnt work), tried uninstalling msn (didnt work) ive tried alot of things but none have worked.


will someone help?

 

Try allowing msn on your firewall

Have you tried pressing the repair button? that usually does it for me

Last thing i can recommend is, repairing it through control panel...

 

Uninstall the current messenger you have and install a different one, than if that one works, uninstall it and install your messenger again

 

Get Windows Live Messenger. It's hot and works well. Seems like your firewall is blocking it though...

When you uninstall, make sure you do a reg clean 2 delete the registry keys

 

Sometimes, you can't login in MSN but you can login in hotmail.

Try e-messenger. If that works, then theres nothing wrong with your msn.

It happened to me a few weeks ago. I tried e-messenger it worked fine. I just waited a few days and I was able to log back in.

 

I also had that problem a while ago, just leave it, this problem will fix itself

 

Sometimes MSN has just got problems, whatever you do

DON'T GET LIVE MESSENGER

It's crap.

 

Does internet explorer work? MSN requires IE to run, so if you have IE firewalled or uninstalled, thats probably why.
