Msn Problem

When i try and sign into MtheSN i get this Windows Error Message


The Application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\ieframe.dll is not a valid Windows Image. Please check this against your installation diskette.


and then it closes down, any1 kno how to get rid of it?

Download the dll file and put it in the system32 folder. That file may be corrupt. Granted, this is a guess so maybe backup the other file if its different in case it wont work K? GL.

 

try reinstalling? or the above..

 

tried reinstalling, didnt work but the above also didnt work, still got the same problem

 

Run HiJackThis and post the log here plz.

jst found the Hjack this program, ive updated the above post with the log

 

I'd say check off:

Backup first tho because I am not 100% sure it would work but I'm hoping doing that will fix it, if not reinstall and that should work.

 

ok i cant get on that PC at the moment but i'll try that asap, thanks for ur help even if it dont work

 

i na tried it and it failed, reinstalled it, that failed. Thanks for ur help once again, got any other ideas?


ok i reinstalled it again and it worked, then afta about 5 mins it jst cut out again

Afta fiddling around a bit ive found out that if i close my contacts list when i sign in, i can stay signed in. However as soon as i open my contact list i sign out. Hope that can help

 

NVM i think ive fixed it using Avast Antivirus
