Okay, it has come to our attention that people on GR have been downloading renders, and then putting them in packs for people to download, without giving credit to the creaters, or asking for their permission.

As many of you may or may not know, we do not allow you to put renders in packs without the authors permission. You may only use your own, or you can ask permission to be able to do so.

This rule is also applicable to Brushes, and Tutorials, PSD's or anything else that can be put in a pack.

    Thank you for your cooperation,
    GR Staff

Possibly the pack creators could screenshot the authoer giving them permission and to make a .html page with all the screenshots and credit in the packs :)

The main problem that triggered this, is that someone from GR, made a pack with 2,200 render and put it on filefront. He did not credit ANYONE who made the renders, and filefront won't take it down.

No, that would be hypocritical. I'm almost 100% sure there is no gay pron and lying is illegal, too.

Actually tell them the truth. Email them saying it is a .zip containing 2,200 copyrighted images. Last time I checked distributing copyrighted images without the consent of their authors is illegal?

I am 1 for 2, someone asked me if they could put my render in a pack and he gave me half of the credits he got. (I think or 1/4) Then someone else put my PSD, that I gave learning right only for, for full rights, I was Pissed, lol.

    Nice rules, really. :)

Since when do you get a copy write on something you cut out of a picture.

I am glad to see that this is being adressed though.
