not diggin it sryy budd its very LQ id personally scrap it.

 

v4 looks nice, but yeah as pleth said its a bit LQ and probably not going to go much further.

 

I know it looks LQ, but I wanted it to look like that. I could use a different texture to change it up, will try that when I get home. Got the idea from this

I see the reference image is at least very much like your style, and it looks better with the new textures.

 

newer version looks better but im still not feeling the textures on the body of the crow i think if you got rid of them it would look sweet.

 

It's not really a texture. What I did with the crow, is that I found a parrot render, traced around it for the body, didn't trace the full head and just guessed the beak part. The foot was freehanded, and I used some water color brushes to fill it in. The whole point was to make it look like a watercolor painting from ancient Japan.

 

You did it well.. I love asian style art so maybe I'm being bias but its really good to me
