ok well my monitor has been going like this for quite a while now, i've just ignored it up untill now because it isn't that big of a deal but now it's getting annoying...

So after mabye an hour of use or so my monitor's power will cut off for about a seond and then come back on with anywhere from a few minutes to 10secs in between, i'm no good at figuring out what would cause this so thats why i'm posting here :P so if you have any ideas would be appreciated :)

    Thanks,
    K4D

it could be the power cord/socket,

replacing the power cord and using a different socket might work,
or it could just be going bad, if you have a warranty call the manufacturer and see if you can get it replaced

most products have a 1 year warranty standard

Check all chords. If they seem fine, try replacing the monitor itself. If the problem persists, it may be something actually in the tower, where you hook it in. I would suggest taking the monitor to a different computer and testing it too.
