I am sorry, and not to offend. Please do not try to help anyone else in the computer forum. I am not trying to be mean. I just don't want you to help hurt anyone's computer. If he mistook that for "Stick a damn magnet up to your monitor" you might have him screw something up. Please, just don't try to help. He would know if he did that, because it would happen infront of him with him noticing what he has gone and done. So please, please, try to refrain from posting obvious or miscoulaneous statements that do not apply to what we are trying to trouble shoot or help out with. Again, not trying to be mean. This is just the second time or so I have seen a really, quite dumb, post from you.

@Twiztred- it is on the monitor, not on the computer... has nothing to do with windows... so i can't give you a screen shot...

Spell check needed.... maybe the warantee is gone? I am not sure of this but I do know this. I have the same problem on the left bottom. It is NOT visible at sitting angle so I do not bother.

yeah, like that... can only see it on certain angles. it does not distrupt my viewing, it just looks a bit darker and discolored a bit..

I can still see through it, it doesnt look completely blacked out.

do you know what exactly it is?

I'm not worried about it, just want to know what it is...

Ahhh... I have a very good NEC monitor and no one can seem to figure it out. I am not worrying about mine. I just got over it. It sort of grows on you anyways. If anyone was to take it off now I would probably get worried. I have lived with mine for a bit. I am not sure what it is exactly but it may happen if you use cleansers to clean your monitor. Though, I have never done that, it's a thought. Mine also has a protective non glare layer to protect it from getting pushed on... when I got mine LCD was new (for home use) and people liked to push em for waves. Not good. That also may cause it. Though, I am not sure. Never had to deal with that either.
