I was just looking through the Introduction forums, and there are alot of threads with no replies to them.

Welcoming people to the community will encourage them to stay active, and see how friendly this place is (most of the time).

So, I think that the mods or admins should make sure no thread is left reply-less, and make sure every one has at least one welcoming reply.

    eh, just a thought.

true, my friend... I hate posting my intro and no one even wants to say welcome.... although a million people look at it...

a hearty welcome is always good, to encourage noobies to become active.

Yeah, this isnt something only us mods can do. Though I will try to remember to swing by there more often. Its something regular members can do as well. After all, this community is made up of everyone, not just mods/admins.

Have Big dave or llamma make a topic multi-moderation called "Generic Welcome Message"

it'd sure make things simpler :D

I do that whenever I think of it. I try to target the people with 0 or 1 reply only.
