Well I think I'll cut right to the chase here, so heres my application! ^_^ * Why you would like to be a moderator at GameRenders. I've been apart of the Gamerenders community for a little while now, and i love being apart of and being among all these great artists, digital and normal. I believe that I come on a lot and could be of use for pruning and just be a good example for others to follow. * What you would like to improve at GameRenders. The only thing I have noticed is that some sections are ignored very often or not updated, such as the signature request forum, where a few people have had requests up for a while and nobody responded, I recently responded to two of them because I felt bad they were being ignored. I would promote respect among posters, as from time to time I have seen very too the point comments and criticisms that come across as harsh, whether or not they were intended to be. These occurrences lead to further issues and I don't believe its always necessary. * Your past experience with moderating forums (if any). I run my own forums on gaming, but on a much smaller scale, and a lot more laid back. I understand how frustrating it can be when people spam or act irresponsibly, and can tell when deleting or closing a thread will be needed to stop flaming or trolling. It was originally just a few of my friends and I but some other people showed up as well, unfortunately I do not believe it is going very far so we will probably just stick to talking on Xfire/msn/aim and playing games together . I also have a basic understanding of php and html code necessary to running forums. * The amount of time (on average) you would be able to moderate the forum per week or day. Due to school, I am normally only available during the late afternoon/evening hours of the weekdays but I always find ways to check during school (tech classes/free periods) and in the morning as well. Weekends I spend much more time on the computer and I'd probably check at least once every hour than I'm awake and not-otherwise occupied. This sums up to about 30-40 hours on weekdays and another 35-40 on the weekends, or a total of 65-80 hours a week. * If you have any skills, such as creating good renders,sigs ect (provide examples), or general graphics talent. I like to think I'm pretty decent at making signatures, I run a thread on a WoW server forum making signatures for people (this can be seen here a collection of most of my work is on there as well, a number of different styles. NOTE: a large number of those were made soon after I reformatted and lost all my brushes, meaning just c4d's and filter effects were my running points -_-). I've helped a lot of people on the forums by commenting on their signatures, if not on something that needs improvement, on something they did well (normally both but its not always needed) theres no reason to say that I don't like the entire sig and just hurt a person's feelings, they will be less likely to return for another shot.
