Mobo Help

    im looking to buy a new mobo for my computer so i can upgrade my graphics card.

    currently looking at this one .. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128391

    unless someone else has a suggestion on that and a new graphics card..

    btw...i do alot of 3d modeling work...and some gaming here and there


    my current specs are


    amd athlon 64 x2 dual-core processor
    2x 500 gb seagate hdd
    4 gb of ram
    ati radeon x1600 --- graphics card

    running vista 64 bit os


    any suggestions are apprecated...

    depends what sort of modeling you do, if its strenuous long render times it might be an idea to look into SLI and 9series nvidia cards upwards to use CUDA to offload some of the processing power onto the GPUs

    Excellent motherboard choice to be honest, I've had that before and it was amazing!

    you should list how much your budget is gonna be and if your gonna upgrade your cpu.

    im planning to spend no more then liek 600...cpu upgrade will be kept in mind
