Well I just got back from this movie and I thought I would make a review on it for all of you to read. Well let me first state that this movie definitely kicks off the summer movie season with a Big Bang about a month early. I loved the prior films but always craved more action. Mi3 delivered just that. The movie starts off with a scene from later on in the movie, which gets your adrenaline pumping and wondering on what could have led to this scene. PLOT: IMF agent Ethan Hunt is engaged to a women. He is no longer doing fieldwork but simply trains operatives. After one of his prized pupils goes dark, he and a team consisting of Mi2 actor Ving Rhames and others must rescue her. Her mission was to tail a man by the name of Owen Davian (Played by Philip Seymour Hoffman). After this rescue mission, the team now must stop Davian from reaching his goal of selling “The Rabbits Foot”. MY VIEWS AND OPINIONS: Definitely the best Mission Impossible movie yet. Tom Cruise does an excellent job in this film as does Hoffman and the rest of the cast. The movie feels like a roller coaster ride, the action starts and doesn’t seem to stop right up till the very end. The music done by Michael Giacchino is superb. The visual and sound effects are mind-boggling. If you want to test your Surround Sound stereo/ Home theater system wait for this on DVD and just watch it, it will blow your mind. The plot although somewhat confusing is far less convoluted in comparison to the other 2 films in the franchise, which is a positive thing in my eyes. I highly recommend this film to start your summer movie season off with a bang, even if you hate Tom Cruise you would still love this movie. MY RATING- 9.5/10 Only flaws were in the minor confusing parts of plot. That put aside, this movie is absolute perfection. -Massacre This message will self-destruct in 5 seconds.
