so yeah microsoft pretty much broke my XboX 360...
after the NXE updates my Xbox became a crappy system. it freezes all the time and also I get a RROD pretty often...
Before the NXE updates I haven't got any problems with it and now after it It's just a piece of trash. I can't sell it becuase it is broken and I don't feel like giving microsoft onother 150 euro for a new system... all I've got to say is ------ you microsoft!

Mine scratched 2 copies of gta IV then i took it and threw it literally in the corner. Didn't even bother to contact microsoft...so you have my sympathy.

Your console didn't scratch it, whatever you did to your console scratched it.

Despite popular belief consoles don't just die, you're always doing -something- that leads to it. I've had a perfectly running 360 now since they first came out, sits in an elevated position, in a cool room and I look after it, clean it out every now and again.

But w/e lets you sleep at night.
MS are generally very good at sorting out replacement consoles.

microsoft actually admitted that the Xbox can scratch your disks...
well I don't got the warranty licensce of my Xbox so i think I can't send it to MS :( or even do something about it...
this is the last time I bought their console next console will be a Playstation not an XboX...

actually, if you move the console while playing it can
    not if it doesn't move
the slightest movement may i add
don't bother defending yourself, because that's the real reason

Yeah MS is pretty much the one to blame here.

They shouldn't sell consoles to retarded kids who don't know how to handle one.

dude ------ off you don't know what i do and what I do not do with my XboX. I never even tried to remove anything from it or make it open. All I do is play games on it, I don't even move it from it's place. It has stand on the same spot where I placed it after I got it. it all occured after the NXE updates...

you started it in the first place I make a perfectly normal topic, and then you come in telling that I am a retarded kid wich doesn't know how to handle a console, well I've had many consoles all work(ed) (I've sold some) fine exept the Xbox, so it's not my fault. I take good care of my stuff.

LOL Broken believe what you want...i was using my xbox for 1,5 years and im aware of the fact that when you move your xbox it will scratch the dvd but i was not doing it...

I was playing gta IV and after about 20 seconds there was this really uncomfortable noise and the game froze...i didn't think much of it so i went back to the store to get a new copy for free (dunno how i managed that). Then 2 days without a problem and then the same ----...

    even without moving...you're right!

There is a big lawsuit against Microsoft about Xbox's (less than 1% - Still a lot) scratching disks.
