Mic And Vent Help

Well I went into vent today for the first time in months and wanted to talk to ppl but they couldn't hear me. So I messed around with the settings and then tryed again, it ended up they can hear my music but not me. I'm louder then my music and they still cant hear me. I unplugged my mic and they still hear my music. I dont have a built in mic on my computer or speakers. I tryed different ports and settings.

hehe just making sure. I broke my mic a few months ago so I havent used it in a while

 

still isnt working I might just give up and get a new mic.

 

yeah, you might want to. you can get a pretty good mic for pretty cheap.

 

before you think ur mic is broke, go to programs < accessories < entertainment < and press sound recorder. See if that picks up ur mic.

 

Control Panel >Sounds >Voice >Volume/Advanced

 

I tryed rocording myself but it didn't work.

 

hmmm.. then ya, ur mic is screwed.
