    Perhaps blend the text a little more ? Or smooth the border of the text...

    4/10 -- ugly, no offence..

    IMprovement to get higher marks = Most definitly a border, wuld boost u a good 2-3 marks IMO. ;)

    Okay, here's what I think you should do. First, give the sig a border, just put a 3 px Black over it, then right over that, put a 2 px white, then change the layer to soft light. Now, for the text, give it a more.....outer spacey look. Old English type text does not match metroid.

    A way you can smooth the text is at the top toolbar there will be a little icon that is and A with another A right next to it. It will be a drop down and you can choose Strong, Smooth, Crisp, or Sharp. I recommend using strong....
