heavy got back into proper throwndown ---- again. like bury your dead, liferuiner, xAFBx, emmure, etc...
I don't listen to Metal but it's a genre that I find interesting and I want to explore it. The only Metal that I have is 2 albums by Rage Against The Machine and 1 by Tool... I want to get to know all the different styles and all... Familiarize myself with Metal. I'm gonna be checking out this thread. See who gets names a lot and check them out.
RATM isn't really metal.. they lean towards Alternative Metal if anything. Tool is progressive. Check out Iron Maiden for some easy listening stuff.. Then move on to ---- like The Black Dahlia Murder.
Alternative Metal isn't part of Metal? And I've been told that Progressive is was part of Metal... I don't really know all of the sub-genres. So I don't know. But aight. I'll check out Iron Maiden. I only know them by their name. But other than that, I know nothing.
ew nu metal. cannibal corpse? conducting from the grave impending doom whitechapel. i dont really consider bands like disturbed and system metal. hard rock at its best if anything.
I saw them almost four years ago, kinda boring live, probably won't go out of my way to see them again. There are not many good shows passing through Pittsburgh this summer... The only one I have any interest in right now is Leftover Crack. Rotten Sound and Misery Index are playing tomorrow, but I doubt I'll go to that. ---------------- Now playing on Winamp: Bathory - One Rode To Asa Bay via FoxyTunes
Swedish and Norwegian metal is pretty good Like Bathory,Marduk,Immortal etc... What I'm now listening to are some folk and viking metal bands. For example Nokturnal Mortum. One of my favourite death metal bands is Death (what a name), in thrash metal there is Megadeth, in heavy metal Iron Maiden(seen live on their last tour here in Prague)... can continue but i would definetly forget something so I'd rather leave it
