Media Player 11

so i recorded like 10 episodes of the boondocks from tv onto my cousins laptop and i went to burn the dvd's all is workin good come home. pop them in my pc upgrade wmp to 11 and try watchign the dvd and get some kind of errors i dont know why here is a ss of what happens though

 

Looks like you don't have the codec needed to play the video, if its .avi you can just download divx

 

yeah i got 11 to but it cant play everything just download this:

and then klick on Download [ K–Lite Codec Pack 2.74 FULL ]

you will never run out of codecs again

uhm well i downloladed the pack and it still didnt work i noticed the dvd file type is UDF idk if thats important and i have tried divx it had errors as well...

 

maybe you could do a clean uninstall of your current klite codecs files, and download the Klite mega codec.

During ur installation, rmb to choose expert playback, and do not untick wmp classic, because wmp classic is able to play much more advanced codecs, for example mp4 etc.

 

I HATE MEDIA PLAYER 11 IT IS NO GOOD.
im stickimg with version 10. lets just hope they get all the bugs out when vista arrives

 

it wouldnt work on wmp 10 either sooooo
