Well Hush/MC Hush is kinda Mainstream. My favourite song by him is "Fired Up" it was on NFS: Most Wanted too.

 

Theres alot of bad rap/mcing out there, imo rappers like 2pac and dre are worth listening to.

 

2pac is a rapping legend, no doubt, one of my faves if not my fave.

Dre is pretty good, you guys should listen to some Immortal Technique, he has great rapping skill.

2PAC FTW!, great mix of message,insite,meaning,language that was well regonized ( not too complex but what you hear every day ), purpose. Will forever remain the best, because of what he accomplished from nothing and doing it with intent.

Also im with pete, Mainstream now-a-days sucks, its music without meaning its just mindless dribble that relies on a popy beat, hence why producers are all in the film clips. ect.
