Ive used mcafee for years now - I use to use norton which was balls - Didnt delete any viruses or find any for that matter

When i switched mcafee found and cleaned the viruses end on end - So far atm im using Mcafee - Far better than norton

hm..used it for like 3years or so now still going strong with updates

Ive used Norton for a time, it is balls. when i was on dial-up, man those updates took awhile...

    Same with McAfee, large uploads.

Ive also used AntiVir and Avast for the quick downloads.

    I stay with Avast..

McAffee is better than Norton, unless you're in an office setting. For personal use, use McAffee. Norton is bloated, annoying, and pretty much useless.

Which is why Norton is used mainly in schools and offices, because you're not able to download much in the first place, there's less threat, and less work to be put into the antivirus setup.

So yeah. Go with McAffee. It seriously works best, and is definitely worth paying for. You get the updates (which, however, WILL take a long time to download, and use up a lot of CPU resources in the process), and it gets rid of everything easily.

    McAffee > Norton
