Ok so I added eyebrows, eyelids, teeth, and a better nose. Still working on the top f the head. I personally think it looks much better now. What do you think?

Well I went ahead and colored him. This the desired lok I wanted though. I wanted to try and pick selections on his face and give each section a particular color but I couldnt figure out how.

Ok so I went back and after learning a bit about coloring the image and rendering I started to add some color to him. I also wanted to try and add some fur but I can't seem to find a good tutorial about fur in Maya. I'll proably just go back and add a ramp to finsih up the head. Id there a way to kind of contuor the ramp to the face or anything like that?

Well I'm still working on this. I first wanted it to be like some kind of monkey but as I progressed it seemed to turn out as a mouse or somthing. But I'm happy with the results I got so far. What do you think?

Well I basically started the project just desinging ideas. I actaully used sock monkeys as a basic idea and then tryed to evolve it. It was only when I started working it out in Maya did it actaully turned into a mouse thing. So I was really trying to just create my own character. The reason it proabaly resembles somthing like mikey mouse is b/c I based the style off of looney tunes which closely resembles a lot of disney characters.

read some tutorials on organic modeling, facial topology, and polygonal modeling, look into buying some training kits from either thegnomonworkshop.com or digitialtutors.com.
