I was going to say 'spic', but I figured that would be racist. Oops!

It's weird, I know about 4 people who do taeqwondo, and two are blackbelts!
    It's almost a bit disturbing.

I think they're great, but kinda pointless to learn unless you plan on getting into fights all the time.

Great logic, because, it doesn't get you in shape or anything...it doesn't teach you discipline or anything...yea, you're definitely right. -_-...

There are other ways to get into shape ^_^
The discipline aspect of it is useful, but again, can be learnt in other ways, and then you have naturally obedient people.

I've done several things in regards to fitness. Martial arts has, by far, been the most successful. You learn discipline, respect, diligence, and obedience, while getting into shape. You learn to defend yourself if someone attacks you. You increase your self-confidence. You learn excellent methods of self-control, such as controlled breathing and doing forms when angry or frustrated. Studying martial arts is a huge package deal. The only thing I can see that would be better is joining the Marines.

Of course, it's not for everybody. I have a good body type and lots of energy, so I really enjoy it. Others just hate that sort of stuff, or have legit medical problems like bad knees.

I know various things from a variety of martial arts...so you guys may know a thousand moves from one, whereas I'd know a thousand moves from a thousand martial arts...

    (Yes, exaggeration)

This. And I don't know about the Marines. It'd be missing a couple of aspects.

I feel like all the people that do JKD or rather the majority of people that do are only interested cause of Bruce LeeĀ  <_< .

    And whose Wing Chun?

I do Tang Soo Do. It's pretty fun, and I love doing it; It keeps you in shape, and you get to knock the crap out of your freinds. Thats why I love doing martial arts
